VK Technologies has been part of Tongaat CBD for years — an internet café here since the 2000s that grew into the print shop, computer store and document-services counter the town relies on today.
VK Technologies started as an internet café on the main road in Tongaat and, over the years, grew into a genuine one-stop shop. Today it rolls the internet café, a computer store and a digital print shop into one counter — the place locals bring their printing, their paperwork and their broken laptops.
On any given day that means everyday printing and photocopies, large-format printing and signage, lamination and binding, garment and novelty printing, design and artwork, and wedding and event stationery — alongside computer sales and repairs and full internet-café and document services: typing, scanning, emailing, CV help and help with online government forms.
It's owner-run, and it shows. Regulars get a hello by name, local small businesses have their ongoing printing and paperwork looked after, and a corporate client trusts the shop with fast, reliable print runs. The work reaches beyond Tongaat too — including signage produced for a business up in Ballito.
